Delivering Fiscal Responsibility You Deserve. Protecting Our Hometown. Serving You.

Vote Marjorie K. Eastman for Cary Town Council At-Large
A Common-Sense Voice for All of Cary
Cary is more than a fast-growing town; it’s our forever home. We moved here after our military service for its thoughtful planning, safe neighborhoods, top-rated schools, amazing parks and greenways, and wonderfully diverse population – all of which offered the sense of balance that made our community special. But lately, that balance has shifted.
I’m running for Cary Town Council At-Large because I believe it’s time to return to judicious growth and sustainability, restoring fiscal responsibility, a high quality of life — protecting what makes Cary unique.
With your support, as your next At-Large Council Member, I will focus on:
Being a fiscal watchdog and a good steward of taxpayer money - keeping taxes as low as possible! I will ask tough questions, prioritize needs over wants, and stop the overspending
Ensuring every district is heard, not just the downtown core
Preserving the character of Cary, understanding greenways and parks, public safety, and economic opportunity overlap - we are a Town, not a City
Bringing a seasoned, steady voice to the Council who listens and welcomes input
Like you, I do not want my At-Large Representative to overspend the town budget and raise property taxes, which has been the case with the current At-Large Representative over the past few years.
That’s not sustainable, and frankly, it’s not fair to families, retirees, or young homeowners trying to build a life here.
As your At-Large Representative, I will always be your neighbor first, restoring a sense of balance and accountability you can trust. I bring discipline, an experienced background, and a service-minded approach to leadership as a US Army combat veteran.
Did you know that by design, the At-Large Seat is supposed to be nonpartisan?
A return to that legacy is a commitment I make to you. Just like my service in the military, as your At-Large Representative, I will lead with integrity, balance, and our shared values - not an agenda.
I respectfully ask for your vote on November 4th.
